Promising early results seen with biologic arthroplasty technique for knee lesions | Orthopedics
SAN ANTONIO — Researchers discovered improved outcome scores at 3 years for patients with cartilage lesions of the knee who underwent mini arthrotomy and with bone marrow aspirate concentrate covered with a collagen I/III matrix. “Biologic arthroplasty with this technique is a viable option,” John Lane, MD, said during his presentation at the Arthroscopy Association of North America Annual Meeting.
Bone marrow aspiration concentrate and scaffold matrix……this reminds me of the work being done in Italy.
